Meet the Person Behind Home Daddy VR

Home Daddy VR is built around one simple idea: helping Meta Quest players work out what is genuinely worth their time and money. But behind the reviews, guides and recommendations, there is also a real person playing the games and putting everything together.
I’m Matt, the person behind Home Daddy VR. I’m a dad, a long-time gamer and a VR enthusiast, and when I’m not playing Meta Quest games, I’m usually busy being a stay-at-home dad and keeping family life moving.
I created Home Daddy VR because I wanted somewhere people could find straightforward, honest opinions based on real experience — without pretending every game is amazing and without making things more complicated than they need to be.
Why I Started Home Daddy VR
I’ve been gaming for as long as I can remember, but VR felt different. The immersion, the variety of experiences and the feeling of actually being inside a game completely changed the way I wanted to play.
I found myself constantly recommending games and talking about what was worth buying, so Home Daddy VR grew from that. I wanted to create somewhere Meta Quest players could get clear, honest advice before spending their money.
How I Review Meta Quest Games
I play the games myself and base every review on my own experience. I look at the gameplay, graphics, VR immersion, performance and value, but I also pay attention to the simple question that matters most: did I actually enjoy playing it?
I’ll talk about the good and the bad because I would rather help you decide whether a game is right for you than pretend every new release is worth buying.
What You’ll Find on Home Daddy VR
Home Daddy VR is growing into much more than just game reviews. You’ll find honest Meta Quest reviews and recommendations, scary games, sports and fitness titles, headset and accessory advice, Xbox and Steam guides, troubleshooting and the Ask for Help section when you get stuck.
I’m also building much more detailed guides behind the scenes. That includes help setting up your VR space properly, a much deeper Meta Quest settings guide, practical headset setup advice and pages designed to help you actually understand and get more from your Quest 3 or Quest 3S.
There is also a Home Daddy VR shop being built, with Meta Quest accessories and other products coming to the website. A lot of this is still being worked on in the background, so the site is going to keep expanding with more guides, more help and more useful tools over time.
Independent Opinions and Affiliate Transparency
Home Daddy VR is independent. I’m not owned by Meta or by any game studio, and the opinions I share are based on my own experience using the games, headsets and accessories.
Some links on HomeDaddyVR.com are affiliate links. If you buy through one of those links, Home Daddy VR may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That support helps me keep building the website, creating videos and putting more time into the guides and help sections.
A Bit About Me
I’m Matt, originally from the UK, and we’re in Japan at the moment. I’m a stay-at-home dad to James and Jasmine, so everything I do with Home Daddy VR has to fit around family life.
Home Daddy VR also isn’t the only thing I work on. I run the Home Daddy, Home Daddy Fit and Home Daddy Motivation YouTube channels as well, alongside Facebook and Instagram. Between the different channels, the website, the shop, guides, reviews and family life, it can all get a bit hectic.
And everything you see under the Home Daddy name is done by me. I don’t have a team behind the scenes. I create the videos, write the scripts, play the games, test the products, build the website, work on the shop, create the guides, manage the social media and put everything together myself.
That is one of the reasons I use an AI version of my own voice for a lot of the narration. I still play the games, test everything myself and decide exactly what I think — the AI voice simply helps me turn those thoughts into videos when there just aren’t enough hours in the day.
Home Daddy VR is very much a personal project, and the goal is to keep making it more useful, more detailed and more helpful as it grows.
Thanks for Being Here
Whether you came to Home Daddy VR for a game review, help with your Meta Quest, an accessory recommendation or just to see what is new, I genuinely appreciate you being here.
There is a lot more coming to HomeDaddyVR.com, and I’m going to keep building it into a place where Meta Quest players can find honest opinions, practical help and useful guides all in one place.
Thanks for supporting Home Daddy VR and everything else I’m trying to build under the Home Daddy name.
